The first post.
I ran a thrilling 12 mile run and would encourage all of you to take up marathoning. It is one of the world's greatest gifts. And as I have told my children for years: "the Greeks thought of it."
I am also absorbed by Joseph Campbell's A Hero with a Thousand Faces. It is a dense, thick book. But, reading it will bring you a more serene happy life. Look what it did for Campbell and the thousands of his admirers.
I am several days into a long vacation and loving every moment. 14 miles on New Year's day.
